About the Long Eaton Camera Club

LONG EATON CAMERA CLUB has been established for over forty years, following the merging of the Long Eaton Co-Operative Camera Club and Long Eaton Trinity Camera Club in 1967.

Meetings take place every Monday evening from 7.30 – 10pm at the Women’s Institute, on Wilne Road in Sawley (conveniently placed near the Nag’s Head pub for after-club socialising!). Between September and May we meet here, and during the summer months we go out to take photographs while the weather is good and the nights are long. These evenings out are also used by members to learn from each other and pass on their knowledge and skills.

Club activities include: in-house monthly competitions, visiting speakers, and practical evenings.
Our membership fee is £40 per year, but if you are interested in joining the club then the first three meetings are free.

If you are interested in joining, then feel free to come along to the W.I to see us. All ages and abilities are welcome. If you would like to contact us, please do:

We are affiliated to the PAGB through The North and East Midlands Photographic Federation. NEMPF
